Kinetic Playground was a movement and dance workshop bringing renowned local, national, and international artists together for a week in Boulder, Colorado. Kinetic Playground aimed to merge the diverse array of movement-centered communities in Colorado to celebrate play and encourage connection and collaboration. Organized by Leah Woods, Caroline Sharkey, Mackenzie Schuller, and Marie Janicek. Teachers included Marlo Fisken, Kim Amankwaa, Winston Reynolds, Link le Neil, and Kyle Fincham. Kinetic Playground was funded by the Boulder Arts Commission. Below are a selection of moments that capture a bit of the joys that occured.
